Dr. Emad Adly Honored in Recognition of His Contributions to Nature Conservation and Environmental Action
The Egyptian Society
for Nature Conservation honored Dr. Emad Adly, Chairman of the Arab Office for
Youth and Environment, in recognition of his distinguished career and
significant contributions to protecting Egypt’s natural heritage and advancing
environmental and civil society action over many years.
The recognition took
place during a celebration organized by the Egyptian Society for Nature
Conservation to mark the twentieth anniversary of its establishment and the
launch of its efforts to protect and preserve Egypt’s natural resources and
heritage. The ceremony was held at the conclusion of the fifth edition of the
Egypt Wildlife Photographers Exhibition on the evening of Thursday, 9 July
2026, at Adam Henein Hall, El-Hanager Arts Centre, Cairo Opera House.
The celebration
honored a distinguished group of individuals and institutions whose efforts
have contributed to promoting a culture of nature conservation and
strengthening the role of civil society in protecting the environment and
natural resources over the past two decades.
Dr. Emad Adly was
selected among the honorees in recognition of his pioneering role in supporting
environmental and sustainable development issues, enhancing the participation
of civil society organizations and young people in addressing environmental and
climate challenges, and advancing partnerships, initiatives, and programmes
aimed at protecting natural resources and raising environmental awareness.
This recognition
reflects appreciation for his longstanding record of dedicated service and
reaffirms the importance of integrating the efforts of institutions and
individuals to protect Egypt’s natural heritage and ensure the sustainability
of its resources for present and future generations.
The Arab Office for
Youth and Environment extends its sincere congratulations to Dr. Emad Adly on
this well-deserved recognition and wishes him continued success in his
distinguished efforts to advance environmental protection and sustainable
development in Egypt and across the Arab region.
