The Arab Office for Youth and Environment (AOYE) places a high priority on building the capacities of young people and raising their awareness of key issues related to achieving sustainable development, enhancing their knowledge of national strategies and projects and encouraging their active participation in implementing these initiatives. In this regard, the office organizes a series of awareness-raising meetings and training programs targeted at youth.

The office recently held an awareness seminar at the Sahel Youth Center, focusing on climate change and its multiple impacts. The seminar reviewed the key national strategies related to this issue and highlighted the national efforts being made in this field. During the event, the role of youth in addressing environmental challenges and how they can contribute to achieving sustainable development goals was discussed.

The participating youth showed great interest in the topic and expressed their readiness to increase their volunteer efforts and actively participate in all initiatives and projects organized by the AOYE.
