As part of the Resilient Productive Communities Project, implemented by the Coptic Association for Social Care in collaboration with the Arab Office for Youth (AOYE) and Environment and in partnership with the local Egypt Al-Erada Association for Development, a campaign was launched to enhance and beautify Zakaa Institution Street in Al-Marg district. This initiative is supported by extensive community participation, including residents and shop owners, and coordinated effectively with the Al-Marg District Authority.

The week-long campaign aims to plant approximately 700 poinciana trees under the supervision of the district’s agricultural officials. Additionally, the initiative includes painting sidewalk curbs along the street to improve its overall appearance.

The campaign also features awareness meetings with residents and shop owners to emphasize the importance of maintaining and caring for the newly planted trees, highlighting their crucial role as a key solution to address climate change challenges.
